This is a really great, touching story. The book flips back and forth between two narrators, Denver- a former slave living on the streets, and Ron- a successful art dealer. The two meet when Ron's wife suggest they help out in their community, and Denver becomes a lifelong family friend. The story takes a few turns and there are some sad parts, but overall it is a very uplifting story.
I really enjoyed this book as well. It is a very short read also, not alot of time needed.
