Whistlin dixie in Nor'easter - Lisa Patton

This book is about a Southern belle who gets uprooted by her husband to Vermont where summer is 6 weeks long and snow stays on the ground through April. This Tennessee mom of 2 young kids has to face the life struggles of moving away from her only home in Tennessee to the foreign culture and weather of the North. It's a quick read and I really enjoyed the sequence of events that occur throughout the story. I was kind of disappointed with how it ended, but then I found out there is a second book that follows that I definitely want to read next.
